There are different kinds of publication types in LIBRIS: monographs, journals, newspapers, serials, dissertations, conference proceedings, government print and festschrifts.
You can delimit your search to a certain publication type by choosing an option in the pop-up menu.
| Periodicals | Only journals and annuals |
| Newspapers | Only newspapers. At the moment there are only a few of them in LIBRIS. |
| Serials | Only publications which are published in a series |
| Dissertations | Only dissertations. Both Swedish and foreign universities. Can be delimited with place of publication (in the publisher field) |
| Conferences | Only conference proceedings |
| Government print | Mainly Swedish official publications |
| Festschrifts | Both Swedish and foreign |
| Articles | Only articles in periodicals, collections and yearbooks |
| Reviews | Only reviews |
| Not articles/ reviews | Articles and reviews will be excluded |
