Cataloguing
MARC 21 is the storage format used by the LIBRIS cataloguing system. A translation to Swedish of the formats is available, LIBRIS Formathandbok (MARC 21)

Interlibrary loan
Approximately 1 250 libraries in Sweden order books and articles online via LIBRIS. The interlibrary loan function is also used by 375 libraries in Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway.
